El ventilador enfría el motor para evitar que se sobrecaliente. Reemplace el ventilador si faltan aletas o si el cubo del ventilador está agrietado. Existen varios tipos de ventiladores del tipo "jaula de ardilla" al tipo de hélice. Hacer funcionar la unidad sin un ventilador hará que se sobrecaliente y posiblemente dañe el motor.
